Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk— County Upper (7 wins and 10 losses) improved their record to 4 wins and 0 losses in the English Schools Competition pool stage with a convincing 116 – 36 victory over East of Norfolk 6th Form.
County Upper controlled the game from the opening tip; by not letting East Norfolk 6th Form get into a rhythm. CU were able to put together an outstanding display of offensive and defensive plays to open up a convincing 56 – 22 half time lead.
County Upper started the second half with the same intense pressure they had in the first half. East Norfolk 6th Form were unable to cope with this pressure, letting CU walk away with a convincing 60 – 14 second half performance.
County Upper will be back in action on the 21st of January, when they play Essex University first team in Bury St Edmunds. Game time is at 4:15pm.
